At the event my friends and I found a variety of cool items such as a racing jacket, Carhartt overalls, vintage tshirts, and many other unique pieces. I highly recommend checking out a vendor event such as this one!
On Estate Sales:
Though some may be apprehensive to visit an estate sale, I am here to recommend this type of sustainable shopping experience in the highest regard. Not only does it fulfill your snoopy desire to know what the inside of beautiful houses is, I think that it is also a place to find interesting pieces that go beyond clothing. My roommates and I have stocked our kitchen with glasses and found great art pieces that we found hard to leave behind. But I believe that nothing can be better than the beautiful pieces that I have found at estate sales. Vintage skirts and luxury accessories have all been found in the different rooms of the homes.

Thrifting for the first time can be daunting here are some tips to make your first trip a bit easier:
Make a list of items that you are looking out for (examples: button-downs, graphic t-shirts, low-rise jeans, etc.)
Look on apps like Pinterest, Instagram, or TikTok for inspiration to help you get a better idea of what might want to look for while you are there
Try out more than one store in your area if possible. Thrift stores can be a hit or miss sometimes and going to a few can allow you to see a variety of options
Give yourself time to browse the store
Bring friends! They can be helpful to sort through aisles as well as give opinions on questionable finds
